Guidance and Counseling
Shri Brahamrishi Vidya Mandir provides a full guidance and counselling service to our students. Both of our highly qualified guidance counsellors deliver a comprehensive guidance programme to students as well as providing support to students on an individual basis, where appropriate. Our guidance suite has a well stocked career guidance library along with internet access to facilitate research regarding third level options and making applications to colleges. Career related trips are organised for students in senior cycle e.g. Higher Options, visits to universities and Institutes. When opportunities for career or educational development are available, students are encouraged to apply for these, e.g. IITJEE, AIIMS, NDA, CLAT, IIM-INDORE, OLYMPIADS, NTSE, KVPY, JSTS, NMMS etc. A full Careers Day is organised on an annual basis where we invite professionals from various walks of life (including many former students) and representatives from many colleges, Institutes of Technology and universities visit the school and share their experiences with the students. The guidance counsellors also organise mock interviews for all Leaving certificate students as part of their guidance programme.
